Coffee Flavored Muffins

Nothing better than the aroma of fresh muffins at home.

We made some muffins at home and sharing the recipe for the same with you all. We also added our favorite coffee flavor to it.


  1. Maida - 200 gms

  2. Powdered Sugar - 200 gms

  3. Non-salted Butter - 125 gms

  4. Milk - 1/2 cup

  5. Eggs - 2

  6. Baking Powder - 1 tbsp

  7. Vanilla Essence - 1 tbsp

  8. Instant Coffee Powder - 2 tbsp

  9. Pinch of salt

  10. Choco Chips - To Garnish (Get it here)

What else you will need:

  1. Laminated cupcake liners (which do not require metal tray) (Get it here) or alternatively Muffin Moulds (Get it here)


  1. Get all the ingredients ready. This eliminates any running around in between the batter making.

  2. Sieve all the dry ingredients together (except the instant coffee powder)

  3. In a separate bowl, add the butter (slightly melted), vanilla essence and one egg. Mix well. Add the instant coffee powder

  4. Now alternatively add some dry mix, and eggs (followed by milk) and continue to mix the batter well.

    #Baking Tip: Adding the eggs one by one (and not together) and adding dry ingredients’ mix in between, avoids curdling of batter.

  5. Check for consistency of batter at the end

  6. Now pour appropriate amounts of batter in the laminated cupcake liners. You should fill up only 3/4th of the cupcake liner with the batter mix. This gives cupcakes ample space to rise

    #Baking Tip:Laminated cupcake liners are great to use as they do not require a separate metal tray beneath them in the oven and are beautiful to directly serve too

  7. Our favorite step - Sprinkle some choco chips on the top. You may also add some choco chips in the batter itself.

  8. Bake at 180 degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes (Ensure that the oven was preheated)

  9. Check to ensure that the muffins are fully baked

  10. Serve and Enjoy!
